The grub screw setting jig is a free tool for you to 3D print yourself in order to set the grub screws to the correct length to meet the accessory system specification.
Download the jig STL HERE.
- Prepare your accessory, ensure the threaded insert has been installed.
- Apply a thread-lock adhesive to the grub screw end opposite the head.
- Screw the grub screw into the accessory by three (3) to four (4) turns.
- Place the setting jig over the accessory so that the grub screw pokes through the hole in the jig.
- Tighten the grub screw until the head of the screw is flush with, or just below, the jig surface.
- Remove the accessory.
